Key Responsibilities

As Head Chef, you will:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
• Prepare and present authentic Indian, Pakistani, Thai, or Sushi dishes to the highest standards.
• Design seasonal menus and introduce new dishes.
• Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.
• Manage stock, place orders, and minimise food waste.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Work closely with management to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.

Requirements

To be successful, you should have:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
• Strong expertise in Indian, Pakistani, Thai, or Sushi cuisine.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Salary

• £35,000 - £39,000 per year
