Head Chef

The Queens Chew Magna is looking for a a dynamic, energetic and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team. As Head Chef, you will have almost full autonomy with your menu and are expected to lead and inspire the kitchen team to maintain the high standards have built our reputation on.

Head Chefs' Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Devise a traditional meets modern twists menu that evolves using fresh produce and local suppliers
Outstanding organisation and communication skills.
Preparation, presentation and delivery of first class food
Take pride in your work, strive to achieve high standards and develop seasonal menus
Ability to think on their feet and find the best solutions to any problems that arise.
Ensure the welfare of all team members and themselves alike
In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety as well as food and hygiene standards
Ordering & stock taking
Head chef would have a strong background in gastro pubs / restaurants using fresh ingredients
