Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant and hospitality management, with a focus on food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards while fostering a positive and collaborative environment among staff.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Supervise kitchen staff, including training new cooks and assisting with team management.
Maintain inventory control, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Assist in budgeting and cost control measures related to food production.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £34,500.00-£38,500.00 per year
