Role Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Head Chef to head up the kitchen and lead a talented team in a modern kitchen that emphasizes local, seasonal foods cooked using modern techniques and the latest chef's kit. This role offers a career minded chef the chance to make a name for themselves in a very supportive environment and to contribute to the region's leading independent gastro pub & hotel group.

Candidate Profile

• A keen eye for detail and a true passion for their craft
• Experience working in a Rosette or Michelin kitchen would be an advantage
• A career minded chef who is looking to push forward with their career
• A chef who has proven longevity in roles - no jumpy chefs here!
• The type of character who can enthuse & excite junior chefs and lead the team through leading by example, rather than the old school way (no shouty chefs, please)
• Detailed knowledge of kitchen management, costings, kitchen budgets, & experience working with seasonal produce would be a benefit
