Head Chef - Crowthorne Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

About the Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for driving kitchen excellence, inspiring a dedicated team, and delivering outstanding dining experiences. You'll have the freedom to innovate, develop menus, and champion fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality dishes.
• Create innovative, seasonal menus highlighting local produce.
• Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including stock control, budgeting, and training.
• Collaborate with management to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
• Creative flair and a passion for food.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance.
• Positive, collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques and dietary requirements.
