Generator Dublin seeks an exceptional and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and create unforgettable culinary experiences.

Responsibilities

• Take full control, accountability and ownership of kitchen management and daily operations.
• Control and direct the food preparation process and related activities.
• Construct menus with innovative, locally inspired food and beverage offerings.
• Monitor and control stock levels.
• Work within departmental budget figures, maximizing revenue and minimizing expenditure.
• Produce departmental forecasts and communicate figures to the team.
• Set up control systems to ensure goods received are checked against delivery notes and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and fire safety legislation.
• Operate a clean, hygienic kitchen at all times.
• Stay updated with local food trends.
• Coach and lead the team to provide exceptional service and encourage repeat guests.
• Identify training needs and update development plans for staff.
• Ensure the team continuously improves product knowledge to maximize revenue and service.
