The Borough Gastro Pub in the heart of Lancaster is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and drive our fresh, seasonal menu forward.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative chef with strong leadership skills to take charge of a busy, quality-led gastro pub known for its locally sourced ingredients and high standards.

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous ready to step up
• Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
• Passion for fresh, seasonal British cuisine
• Ability to manage GP, stock, and kitchen operations efficiently
• Commitment to maintaining high food quality and team standards

• £45,000-£50,000 salary (depending on experience)
• Creative input on menus and specials
