Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Executive Head Chef to lead our culinary team, oversee food production, and ensure the highest quality of dishes are served in our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff in the Executive Head Chef's absence, including recruitment, training, and supervision
- Create innovative and high-quality menu items that meet customers' preferences and maintain high standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in the culinary field
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
