Head Chef

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to come on board and take over the reigns at our Stuzzi residency at the Ilkley tap.

Stuzzi teamed up with renowned local legends of the brewing game, Ilkley brewery and have been serving food there for over a year.

The food concept is derived around small plates and Neapolitan style flat bread sandwiches threw the day going threw to the evening where the sandwiches is replaced by Neapolitan pizzettes . We will also offer a breakfast menu and a Sunday lunch offering.

We are looking for a talented head chef to lead a small kitchen brigade under the umbrella of the stuzzi restaurant group.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food production in the kitchen
- Create innovative menus and recipes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety guidelines
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and maximise efficiency

Experience.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong background in food preparation, and menu planning
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality and consistency
- Experience in supervising kitchen operations, including staff scheduling and performance management
