Role Overview

The Head Chef - Immediate Start role in Taunton involves leading a kitchen team at a well regarded venue. You will take ownership of culinary operations, creating seasonal dishes and upholding high food standards. This permanent position offers a salary of £45,000 to £50,000, plus tips and overtime, with free on site parking. The working pattern excludes lunchtimes from Monday to Thursday, supporting a balanced lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and manage brigade.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous experience as Head Chef or strong Sous Chef, ready to step up.
• Passion for fresh produce.
• Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Ability to produce dishes that balance comfort with finesse, modern interpretations grounded in classic methods.
