Job SummaryApleona Ireland is currently recruiting a Hard Services Lead to join our team in a pharmaceutical site in Kilkenny.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30
Responsibilities- Ensure all maintenance, repair, and engineering activities meet strict FDA, adhering to SOPs and strict environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Own the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programme, targeting 100% on-time completion.
- Manage backlog within PPM schedules outlined by the client and ensure all critical utilities operate optimally.
- Supervise internal maintenance technicians and oversee external contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards are met.
- Develop, implement, and optimise maintenance strategies using risk-based methodologies to improve system reliability.
- Manage change controls for equipment modifications and support Validation teams during facility, utility, or equipment changes.
- Analyse, and report on KPIs (e.g., uptime, PPM compliance) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Carry out fault finding and repairs to downed equipment, contact and coordinate service engineers where external assistance is required.
- Be IT literate in Microsoft suite and any facilities related applications.
- Attend site Tier meetings and represent Apleona, taking a proactive approach to technical escalations as required by the business.
- Perform any ad hoc duties as deemed necessary.
- 5 Years' experience working in a similar role.
- Certificate/Diploma or Senior Trades in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation.
- Must be highly organised and methodical in approach to work.
- Manager with a record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Confident communicator with ability to present to clients in formal and informal settings.
- Display excellent communications and people management skills.
- Must possess a dynamic approach to achieving continuous improvement.
- Customer focus management style.
- Must be self motivated and able to motivate, coach and mentor teams.
- Flexibility required for emergency callouts.
