Haemostasis Application Specialist

We are looking for a Haemostasis Application Specialist to join our Product team.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Haemostasis Application Specialist to join our team and provide expert support to our customers across the UK and Ireland.

What we're looking for:

As a Haemostasis Application Specialist, you will act as the technical and clinical expert for our haemostasis product portfolio. You will support customers throughout the full product lifecycle-from installation and training to troubleshooting and ongoing optimisation-ensuring they gain maximum value from our systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Introduction of new assay protocols, training, support and installation at customers sites across the UK and Ireland
• Troubleshooting queries as a follow on to telephone support
• Joint visits with Haemostasis Technical Manager or Field Service Engineers to support technical investigations that require application specialist knowledge.
• Installation of new equipment, including verification of all routine and specialist assays, and the provision of a report in line with laboratory standards
• Engage in telephone support
• Accurate and timely electronic call recording and logging
• Create and update as required documentation relating to training, installations, SOPs and regulatory issues
• Administer and deliver customer training courses in Sysmex UK laboratory

Essential requirements for this role

• BSC (Hons) degree in Biomedical Science or similar
• Greater than 3 years' experience in a laboratory environment or agenda for change band >=6
• A good depth of Haemostasis experience
• Technical and logical problem solving capabilities
• Reading and understanding of scientific and technical documentation
• Full driving licence

The successful applicant will need to travel to Milton Keynes to complete key activities when required by the organisation.
