Guillotine Operator

The Best Connection Kidderminster are recruiting for a Guillotine Operator for our long time client in Kidderminster.

The role offers regular shifts Monday to Friday with a chance of becoming permanent after a 12 week trial period.

Pay rate & Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm, Friday 6am-12pm £13 per Hour Temp to Perm Responsibilities: Operate and set up guillotines safely and efficiently.

Read and interpret CAD drawings to produce accurate parts.

Cut various sheet metal types and sizes to required specifications.

Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet tolerance standards.

Complete production documentation (e.g., route cards, permits). Report defects, material issues, and safety concerns.

Maintain high quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements: Experience in sheet metal/fabrication (guillotine experience preferred). Ability to read CAD drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Strong attention to detail and measurement skills.

Good understanding of health & safety practices.

Physically capable and able to work independently or in a team.
