GRTN Project Lead (2 Year Fixed Term Secondment)

We are looking for an enthusiastic GRTN Project Lead to join our team on a two-year fixed-term basis. You will lead a targeted project to improve engagement, access to services and health outcomes for Gypsy, Roma, Traveller and Nomadic (GRTN) communities across Wiltshire, building trusted relationships with families, strengthening connections with PHNS and supporting equitable access to the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) through culturally sensitive approaches, co-produced resources and tailored service delivery models. The overarching aim is to reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for children, young people and families within GRTN communities, aligning with the NHS Core20PLUS5 framework.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a defined two year public health project focused on improving engagement, access and health outcomes for GRTN communities across Wiltshire.
• Build trusted relationships with communities, improve equitable access to the Healthy Child Programme, and develop and embed culturally appropriate, co produced approaches to service delivery.
• Contribute to reducing health inequalities through partnership working, workforce development, data monitoring and evaluation of project outcomes to inform sustainable service improvement.

Qualifications

• SCPHN qualification (Health Visitor or School Nurse) and NMC registered.
• Experience working within Public Health Nursing / Healthy Child Programme.
• Experience working with vulnerable or marginalised groups.
• Experience of multi agency working.
• Experience of engagement and relationship building with families.
• Experience working with GRTN or inclusion health groups.
• Experience in service development or project work.
• Experience of co production or community engagement initiatives.
