£27000 OTE + Service Charge (£25,000 + £2k bonus + monthly service charge payment)

The Place

The Group Reservations Agent role is based at our Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, part of Alexander Hotels a private group of quality hotels of distinction just outside London.

Our Group Reservations Office located at the Hotel handles enquiries and bookings for guest accommodation for our five hotels.

The Role

As a Group Reservations Agent, you will be working within a team of 14 under the Group Reservations Manager and will be responsible for handling telephone enquiries and administering guest bedroom bookings from enquiry to confirmation. Group Reservations Agents need a friendly warm personality and be enthusiastic about our beautiful hotels and keen to help the guest with planning their stay and choosing the best options for them to ensure total satisfaction.

• Enquiry handling on the telephone
• Giving information on bedroom and spa availability and rate structure across our five hotels
• Inputting reservations for bedroom, spa, restaurant and lounge bookings
• Liaising with the Group Spa Reservations/Spa Reception team for beauty treatment requests
• Administering bookings and actioning accurate and timely confirmations to all guests, online, by email and by letter

Requirements

• Excellent telephone manner
• Computerised reservation experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail when direct inputting data into our systems
• Available to work 5 days on a rota basis including weekend shifts (1 weekend off in 3). The office opens 8am - 6.30pm so your 7.5 hr shifts will be completed between these hours
