Job Description

The Role

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

  • Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.

  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls.

  • Assist with VAT returns, statutory accounts, audits and regulatory reporting.

  • Provide financial support and guidance to managers across the business.

  • Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and systems.

  • Support, mentor and review the work of junior finance team members.

  • Contribute to finance projects and wider business initiatives.


About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).

  • Strong experience preparing management accounts.

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Experience handling confidential financial information.

  • Strong team player with the ability to build effective working relationships.

  • Experience within a commercial or operational finance environment.

  • Business partnering experience with non-finance teams.

  • Knowledge of finance systems and reporting tools.

  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
