Group Financial Controller

We are recruiting a Group Financial Controller to join a growing Nursing Home Group.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with nursing home or healthcare experience to play a significant role in the companies growth and to help shape their systems and processes.

The role will suit someone who has experience dealing with the HSE/HIQA and can put shape on processes, particularly when new subsidiaries are acquired.

The location would suit someone in Dublin, Kildare, Galway, Midlands, Kilkenny, Limerick, Cork, Tipperary or the midlands. There will be a career growth path for the successful candidate to a CFO position in a few years.

Key responsibilities

• Group financial control across multiple entities
• Analysing financial data & providing insightful commentary
• Financial Modelling including M&A scenarios
• Setting-up and Monitoring internal controls
• Developing close relationships with the individual nursing homes including regular site visits

Minimum requirements

• Experience dealing with HSE/HIQA
• Previous financial controller experience in a changeable environment
• M&A either by virtue of acquiring new companies or been acquired
• Mobile - able to visit midlands office twice per week
