Group Director, Growth Enablement & Operations
The Group Director oversees all active RFIs/RFPs within a specific capability area, ensuring effective and efficient response delivery, and manages resourcing within the group. As a strategic partner, the Group Director prepares capability presentations, provides high-level counsel on RFI/RFP responses, refines existing content with input from executive sponsors, and acts as the primary liaison with executive sponsors and pitch captains. The role involves managing communication with prospective clients, facilitating kick-off meetings through the Pitch Content Planner, and overseeing the performance and professional development of direct reports and other managerial talent within the group.
This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices-including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco-or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.
What you'll do:
- Lead initiatives to identify growth opportunities in partnership with leaders of specific capability areas.
- Develop and execute growth strategies for designated capability areas. Be directly accountable for achieving growth targets.
- Oversee all active RFIs/RFPs in capability areas, ensuring effective response delivery.
- Manage resourcing for the Growth Enablement & Operations group, including talent assignment and support during high-volume periods.
- Partner strategically by preparing capability presentations to meet client and growth needs.
- Provide counsel on RFI/RFP asks and responses, with a deep understanding of client requirements.
- Refine existing content (case studies, bios, slides) with input from pitch captains and executive sponsors.
- Serve as the primary partner to executive sponsors and pitch captains.
- Complete Pitch Content Planner to facilitate productive kick-offs, aligning stakeholders on responses and R&R.
- Communicate with prospective clients regarding response opportunities.
- Manage direct reports, overseeing their performance and professional development, and develop L&D programs in partnership with HR.

What you should have:
- At least 10 years of experience with the RFI/RFP process, ownership of process success.
- Deep understanding of RFI/RFP operations and opportunities, with ability to develop strategies for improvement.
- Experience managing and executing RFI/RFP processes with multiple direct reports and ownership over a capability area.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Pay Range: $170,000 - $205,000. Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and location. We reserve the right to modify this range.
