Group Accountant, Permanent job in Walsall, paying £40,000 - £47,000 per annum with hybrid working

Your new role
The job of the group accountant will involve but not be limited to:

• Responsible for the consolidation of accounts
• Providing financial information to the finance and senior leadership team
• Production of reports
• Supporting and assisting with year-end statutory accounts
• Maintaining financial control and ensuring the accuracy of the financial reports produced
• Cashflow forecasting; supporting the production of monthly forecasts
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting and controls
• Adhoc production of analysis and reporting as and when requested

What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have experience of consolidation of accounts. They will be either a qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidate who is happy working in a technical accounting role.
