Something exciting is hopping into Otley We're opening a brand new Grass Hoppers, and we're looking for a Kitchen Lead to help us launch in style.

If you love the buzz of a busy kitchen, enjoy leading a team, and take pride in great food done brilliantly, this could be right up your street.

As our Kitchen Lead, you'll be the go to person in the kitchen - keeping things running smoothly, motivating the team, and making sure every dish going out the door is something to shout about.

You'll work closely with the Grass Hoppers Manager, lead from the front, and help create a positive, high energy kitchen where people love to work.

What you'll get stuck into

• Leading the kitchen team with confidence, positivity and a smile
• Jumping on the line when it's busy and setting the standard every shift
• Training, coaching and supporting the team to be their best
• Making sure food quality, consistency and presentation are always spot on
• Keeping food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety watertight
• Organising stock, deliveries and reducing waste (because waste isn't cool)
• Helping with rotas, staffing and day to day kitchen organisation
• Sharing ideas to make things better, slicker and more fun
• Bringing our Values and Behaviours to life every single day

What we're looking for

• Experience in a kitchen leadership or senior team role
• A solid understanding of food safety and kitchen standards
• A natural people person who enjoys leading and developing others
• Someone calm under pressure who thrives in a fast paced environment
• Flexible availability across peak and off peak shifts, including some weekends
• A great attitude - energy, teamwork and positivity are key
