Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am - 3:30pm & Fridays, 7:30am - 3:00pm (37 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a hardworking and reliable Grass Cutter to join our client's team in Blandford Forum. This is a varied, hands on role responsible for maintaining a range of outdoor spaces, facilities and buildings to a high standard.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring grounds and facilities remain safe, clean and well presented, while also providing general maintenance and caretaker support when required.

General Duties:

Carry out grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming and general grounds maintenance.
Maintain parks, gardens, sports areas, recreational spaces and outdoor facilities.
Plant and maintain trees, shrubs and flower beds.
Undertake litter picking and ensure outdoor areas remain clean, tidy and welcoming.
Assist with general maintenance and repairs across buildings, pathways, play areas and facilities.
Inspect, maintain and safely operate grounds maintenance equipment and machinery.
Empty litter bins and carry out routine checks and upkeep of facilities.
Provide occasional caretaker support, including opening and securing buildings, setting up areas and completing basic cleaning duties.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements:

A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening or outdoor maintenance is desirable.
Ability to carry out physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
A flexible approach to work, including occasional weekend work when required.
A responsible attitude towards Health & Safety and the safe use of equipment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
