Job Description
Grants Verification Officer - £16.50 per hour - Belfast - Imminent Start Ensuring expenditure is eligible, actual, and consistent with project budgets. Completing verification forms and producing detailed reports on non-compliance or ineligible expenditure. Confirming compliance with grant applications and contract conditions. Tailoring verification work to address project size and nature, uncovering and addressing irregularities. Regularly reporting on non-compliance and financial irregularities, providing recommendations for improvement. Contributing to the review of funding schemes, policies, and procedures. Ensuring safe storage of financial records and facilitating internal and external audits. What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent (Grade C or above), including Maths and English. At least 2 years of experience in verification or audit of expenditure, financial accounting, or payroll processing. Experience in reviewing financial processes and controls. Proven ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Proficiency in MS Office packages, particularly MS Excel. What you'll get in return
