You will learn to liaise with clients, design teams, local authorities and the general public.

You will gain experience of highway design standards, including experience working to both DMRB and Manual for Streets standards in the design of link roads and minor/major junctions and broader public realm and transport movement corridor proposals. You will also learn how 3D alignments can inform concept/preliminary designs. You will work alongside other professionals to develop scheme designs to ensure that they are successful from a highways perspective whilst also considering the other multidisciplinary aspects of design.
