As aTest Engineer Graduate, you'll join a dynamic and supportive team of engineers passionate about delivering innovative solutions to our customers. You'll be given structured development opportunities and rotate through different departments within the business, gaining a wide variety of skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.

This opportunity will be a September 2026 start.

How you'll make an impact:

• Provide technical advice to customers on how to use our products and equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Test our products and equipment, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex problems during implementation or operation.
• Support the commissioning and installation of our products.
• Research and recommend product upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and securing future business.
• Collaborate with the Power Grids Grid Automation Engineering Department to assist in the installation, commissioning, and fault resolution of SCADA systems, communication networks, and protection systems.

Background:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• Familiarity with IEC 61850, SCADA systems, or protection relays is advantageous.
• Strong interest in sustainable energy and digital technologies.
• Basic understanding of test equipment such as Omicron, Megger, or Sverker.
• Exposure to automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
• Awareness of testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.
