Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our agency, working across the Wirral. We partner with a range of fantastic local primary schools that are looking for support staff to join their dedicated teams across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
In this role, you will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, while also benefiting from ongoing professional development opportunities through Connex Education.

- A Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
- Builds positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staff to support teaching & learning.
- Upholds high standards of professional behaviour, presentation, and integrity.
- Committed to maintaining consistency in learning and behaviour expectations.
- Open to professional development and constructive feedback.

- Reliable, well-presented, and committed to confidentiality and ongoing development.
- Sound understanding of classroom roles, routines, and expectations, and how to contribute effectively to these.
- Observant and reflective, able to recognise and respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.
- Awareness of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in a school setting.
- Committed to continuous personal development and open to feedback and training.
