Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education, psychology or special educational needs? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Didcot is seeking a passionate Graduate SEN TA to join its dedicated support team.
This is a great opportunity for a Graduate SEN TA to gain practical classroom experience, develop specialist SEN skills and support pupils as they progress through their education.
The Role
As a Graduate SEN TA, you will:
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist teachers during lessons, interventions and classroom activities.
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence and positive behaviours.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and other professionals.
- Encourage pupils to engage positively with their learning.
About You
The ideal Graduate SEN TA will have:
- A degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology or a related discipline.
- A genuine interest in supporting children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
