Location: Labman HQ Seamer North Yorkshire
Salary : £28,000 - £35,000
Start date: September 2026

We're on the lookout for a Graduate Robotics Engineers who are curious, have hands on experience from tinkering and are eager to turn ideas into real working robots.
What You'll Do
Design and build next-gen electro-mechanical automation systems, working across mechanics, optics, electronics, pneumatics, and software.
Bring ideas to life with CAD tools - sketch it, tweak it, test it, perfect it.
Work side-by-side with brilliant engineers to solve real-world challenges, evaluate components, and make sure everything fits, functions, and flows.
Meet with clients to brainstorm ideas, explore new possibilities, and shape the future of their automation.
Take charge of your own mini design projects - from planning and budgeting to delivery.
Document your designs, safety specs, and support needs like a pro.
Collaborate and coordinate - support technicians, join design reviews, and keep projects running smoothly.
What You'll Bring
2:1 and above degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
A genuine passion for robots, automation, and clever engineering.
Some programming know-how - Python, C#, C++, or similar.
CAD and/or simulation skills (SolidWorks, MATLAB, ROS - all good).
A sharp eye for detail, strong communication, and a love of teamwork.
Desirable (but not essential)
Internship or project experience in robotics or automation
Exposure to ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar platforms
Understanding of sensors, actuators, and control systems
