Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading planning consultancy in their search for a Graduate Planner to join their successful and growing team based in Harrogate.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Planner to kickstart their career within a friendly, supportive, and professional planning environment. The successful candidate will be given hands-on exposure to a wide variety of planning projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, rural and leisure.

The Role:

As a Graduate Planner, you will support senior members of the team in delivering high-quality planning advice to a range of clients. You will assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, site appraisals, and development plan representations. This is a varied and interesting role that will offer you the opportunity to grow quickly in a commercial consultancy setting.

What We're Looking For:

• A degree (or soon-to-be completed degree) in Town Planning or a related discipline

• A strong interest in pursuing RTPI accreditation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks

• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
