Through this structured development programme, you will gain valuable insight into life as a lecturer within Further Education, supported by experienced colleagues, mentors and industry professionals every step of the way.

As a Graduate Lecturer in AAT, you will:

• Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment activities.
• Support students studying AAT and related Accounting programmes.
• Assess and mark learner work.
• Encourage and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
• Support a range of learners, including 16-18 year olds, adult learners and apprentices.
• Develop your teaching skills within a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Work towards becoming a qualified Level 5 Lecturer.

• Hands-on teaching experience delivering AAT courses, including BTEC and T Level provision.
• Experience supporting a diverse range of learners.
• Dedicated support from an experienced line manager and mentor.
• Professional development and recognised teaching qualifications.
• Practical classroom management and teaching experience.
• Potential progression into a permanent AAT Lecturer role upon successful completion of the programme.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• An AAT qualification (desirable).

No previous teaching experience is required - full support and training will be provided.
