Graduate Learning Mentor - Pastoral

Step Into Teaching is offering an exciting opportunity to join an all-through secondary school in Hillingdon as a Graduate Learning Mentor, supporting students pastorally across Key Stage 5. This role is ideal for graduates who want to make a tangible impact while gaining practical school based experience.
What you'll do:
- Provide pastoral support to Key Stage 5 students, promoting positive behaviour, confidence and wellbeing
- Support learners in their academic and personal development
- Work alongside teachers, mentors and SEND teams to provide structured support
- Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions, prepare classroom materials, and contribute to a supportive school culture
Who we're looking for:
- Hold a degree with a 2:2 or above
- Be approachable, friendly and resilient
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be motivated to inspire students and help them achieve their potential
- Take direction and initiative when required
- Bring creativity and reflection to their work within the classroom
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
