The successful Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will assist with:
  • Supporting ground investigation projects from planning through to completion.
  • Site based activities including borehole logging, trial pitting, soil sampling, and groundwater and gas monitoring.
  • Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretative reports.
  • Contributing to Ground Investigation and Geotechnical Design Reports under supervision.
  • Working closely with senior engineers to develop technical and professional skills.
To be successful in this Graduate Geotechnical Engineer application, you should:
  • Hold a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Have an interest in ground investigation and geotechnical engineering.
  • Be based in or near Newcastle and willing to travel to site when required.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
