A welcoming and child-focused mainstream primary school in Wokingham is currently recruiting for a Graduate Classroom Assistant to support classroom learning across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. This role is perfect for aspiring teachers who are eager to gain hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the National Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced and passionate teachers to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
• Assist with lesson delivery and support small group work.
• Offer one-to-one guidance when needed and help pupils reach their full potential.
• Support across the curriculum, including English, Maths, and foundation subjects such as Geography, Science, and PE.

Qualifications and Experience

• Recent graduates with a passion for education and a desire to pursue a career in teaching or education.
• Prior experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
• Relevant experience may include tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, volunteering in schools, or working with children in any educational or care setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, behavioural needs, or learning difficulties would be highly advantageous.
