Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Backend Developer who is passionate about building scalable, reliable server-side applications. This role is ideal for recent graduates eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world systems and grow their backend engineering skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams
• Debug, test, and optimize backend performance
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Learn and apply best practices in security, scalability, and performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of backend programming concepts
• Familiarity with at least one backend language (Java, Python, Node.js, C#, or similar)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, Express, or .NET
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts
• Internship, academic project, or personal project experience
