Job Description

About the programme

Woozle Research is offering a 6-month paid graduate programme for future investment researchers looking to fast-track their careers. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time role upon successful completion of the programme, depending upon performance.

The Woozle Research Expert Connections Team (ECT) supports a diverse client base, including hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital firms, consulting practices, and professional services organizations.

On the Expert Connections Team, you will:

  • Be responsible for supporting client projects, including finding and onboarding experts for research projects across a range of industries and sectors.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to multiple methodologies, sectors, and client types including hedge funds, private equity, and consulting firms.

This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from senior investment professionals, contribute to live projects, and build a network in the investment world.

What You'll Do

As a Graduate Analyst, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Reaching out to prospective experts and deliver compelling pitches using our communication and recruitment strategies in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Bring strong self-confidence and a drive to consistently hit targets.
  • Collaborate and support Senior Analysts serving clients to fulfil urgent, time-sensitive recruiting requests
  • Demonstrate outstanding business communication and talent-acquisition skills
  • Help to build and leverage Woozle's network to identify and attract world-class experts across diverse sectors

Who You Are

This programme is designed for ambitious graduates ready to hit the ground running. You'll likely:

  • Be a recent graduate (any subject welcome)
  • Be intellectually curious and commercially aware
  • Enjoy speaking to people and extracting insights
  • Confidence in making outbound cold calls when needed and various other outreach methods
  • Experience gained in a role where you have had outreach experience would be beneficial
  • Successful track record managing multiple, simultaneous complex tasks and working in team environments, either during education or within a professional environment
  • Thrive in a meritocratic, entrepreneurial culture
  • Be excited about learning how investment decisions are made
  • Ability to professionally manage resistance and consistently close recruits
  • Full business proficiency in English; another modern European language would be a bonus

Career Progression

After achieving specific quantitative and qualitative goals (conversion of recruits, consistent quality delivery), Graduate Analysts typically progress onto a client-facing Analyst role. This depends on business need and individual performance.

What You'll Get

  • £26,000 pro-rata salary + performance-based annual bonuses + strong commission structure
  • Monthly & ad-hoc micro-bonuses to recognise standout contributions
  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible hybrid working - 3 days from home, 2 in our London office
  • Study support for qualifications like the CFA, plus learning stipends
  • A clear path to a full-time offer and long-term Analyst career
  • Access to world-class training, live mentorship, and structured feedback
  • Real exposure to global hedge funds, PE, and consulting firms
  • Work on meaningful projects from day one - your insight matters
  • Culture of radical transparency, meritocracy, and continuous learning
  • Peer recognition programmes and regular team shout-outs
