School Governors (Trustees) Voluntary Role Flexible Hours

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Governing Board.

About the Role

Governors play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, supporting the leadership team, and ensuring accountability-all with the aim of achieving the very best outcomes for every student.

Volunteering as a governor is both a privilege and a responsibility, and it's also a hugely rewarding experience. You'll be part of a committed team working together to support and challenge the school to be the best it can be.

Who We're Looking For

We're particularly keen to hear from individuals with experience in:

  • Secondary education
  • The legal profession
  • Finance

However, we welcome applications from people from all backgrounds who bring diverse perspectives, transferable skills, and a shared commitment to improving education for all.

Support and Development

Previous governance experience is not essential. We offer full training, guidance, and mentorship to help you succeed in your role.

You'll be joining a warm, welcoming, and supportive team that values collaboration and learning.
