Golf Coach

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Golf Coach to support the continued development of golf at Clifton College. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality one-to-one coaching sessions for pupils aged 4-18, helping golfers of all abilities develop their technical, tactical, physical and mental skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will work closely with pupils, parents, the Golf Professional and the wider Sports Department to support individual development.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering structured, engaging and challenging one-to-one coaching sessions for pupils aged 4-18.
• Supporting the development of golfers of all ages and abilities.
• Providing regular feedback to pupils, parents and guardians on progress.
• Analysing performance and implementing development plans to support improvement.
• Developing the all-round golfer, both mentally and physically.
• Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Liaising regularly with the Golf Professional and wider Sports Department to support the golf programme.
• Demonstrating progression and measurable improvement for each individual player.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and members of the public.
• Delivering high-quality coaching sessions to members of the public as part of the College's commercial golf offering.
• Promoting high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and professional conduct at all times.
• Delivering coaching sessions before school, during lunchtimes and after school as required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong playing background and experience coaching or teaching golf within a golf facility or high-performance environment. A PGA coaching qualification would be advantageous. Candidates should be enthusiastic about working with young people, committed to helping ambitious golfers reach their potential, and able to contribute positively to a thriving sports programme.
