The business enterprise includes The National Motorcycle Museum & National Conference Centre and The Manor Hotel - Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Golf & Leisure Assistant to join our hotel; you should be able to deliver amazing hospitality and thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guests' expectations. You should have a real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long term relationships with members and guests. You should have a warm, personable nature and a can do attitude. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

Key responsibilities for the Golf & Leisure Assistant are

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests; anticipate and address guests' service needs at all times, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
• Ensure that the reception desk is efficiently run and that guest care & satisfaction is a focus throughout the shift.
• Be responsible for the supervision & safety of guests and members in accordance with Company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain and manage the golf diary ensuring all bookings are inputted directly upon receipt and updated when necessary.
• Take enquiries and bookings in an efficient manner and encourage maximum sales revenue for the overall profitability of the club.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of the club at all times in accordance with Golf Club procedures.
• Schedule tee times for golfers and spa treatments for clients as requested.
• Take orders, dispense drinks and serve at tables where necessary.
• Promote and sell golf and leisure shop merchandise to guests and members.
• Sell and process club memberships along with promoting the club's services.
• Promote facilities with a focus on memberships and achieving forecasted targets.
• Observe activities throughout the facilities and maintain poolside cover as appropriate during shift.
