The OpportunityThis is a great opportunity to join a leading team. The role involves delivering relevant, high-quality training sessions across the age groups you work with, while leading and supporting the implementation of the Women's clear playing philosophy across the squad.
Key Responsibilities- Works closely with the Academy Goalkeeping Lead to successfully deliver the Chelsea Women's Academy Goalkeeping programme.
- Leads the delivery of the goalkeeping programme for U12 & U13 age groups.
- Leads the individual action plans, on & off pitch, for U12 & U13 goalkeepers including the creation of game/training clips.
- Provides matchday support for U12 & U13 age groups, as well as other age groups as and when required.
- Delivers the Chelsea Goalkeeper Profile in age relevant way for U12 & U13 goalkeepers.
- Works closely with Academy Goalkeeping Lead & wider academy MDT to ensure U12 & U13 goalkeeper needs are met with analysis, physical performance, medical, psychology & menstrual cycle.
- Supports goalkeepers & age group coaches in maximise the outcomes for the goalkeeper in training sessions & matches for U12 & U13 age groups.
- Works closely with Academy Goalkeeping Lead to maintain database & longlist of youth GKs across all age groups. Creates & stores video packages of opposition GK's U16 & below.
- Review U12 & U13 goalkeeper performance & progress and report this regularly to Academy Goalkeeping Lead.
- To complete regular personal development & CPD to continuously upskill themselves both internally & externally.
- When required, assist with Senior Team analysis tasks.
- UEFA B Licence (Essential) • UEFA B GK Licence (Essential)
- UEFA A Licence (Desirable)
- FA Youth Award Modules
- FA Safeguarding Qualification
- FA First Aid Qualification
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Excellent communication skills with other parties, colleagues and players
- Excellent team player
- Ability to work to deadline and to be efficient

- To create a safe environment and act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are either in your care or attending club premises, and report any concerns to the Safeguarding Lead
- To report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the HR Department
