What You'll Do

As Global Sector Coordinator - Automotive & Mobility (A&M) you will support the sector strategy, translate it to concrete initiatives and drive implementation with senior stakeholders. A key emphasis of the role will be supporting the business during a key period of industry transition. You will work direclty for the Global Business Development Senior Manager - Automotive & Mobility, and become an integral and influential contributor to one of BCG's largest sectors.

The role will be an integral contributor to the development and growth of BCG's Automotive & Mobility sector. More specifically, activities will include but are not limited to:

  • Sector strategy and implementation: Support the Business Development Senior Manager and leadership team in executing the sector strategy, coordinating leadership meetings, and tracking key initiatives.
  • Reporting and business intelligence: Maintain sector performance dashboards and reporting on revenue, pipeline, and market trends in collaboration with the Business Development and Marketing teams.
  • People and affiliation: Keep affiliation and people data up to date, support people planning activities, and coordinate sector affiliation and engagement initiatives.
  • Internal communications and knowledge management: Prepare internal updates, newsletters, and leadership materials; ensure sector resources and commercial materials are current and accessible.
  • External marketing and business development support: Assist with client events, external communications, and dissemination of thought leadership content to strengthen client engagement.
  • Continuous improvement and sector operations: Support process improvements and day-to-day operations to enhance sector effectiveness and collaboration.

This role provides the opportunity to contribute to and grow expertise in business intelligence, marketing, and sector operations within a leading global management consultancy.


YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Managing senior stakeholders and being a strong team player across seniority levels and geographies


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree with strong academic achievements preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English


Who You'll Work With

The Global Automotive & Mobility Sector Coordinator works closely with the Automotive & Mobility Business Development Manager located in the US, supporting the execution of the sector strategy. For the daily business, the candidate collaborates with other Industrial Goods Sector/Regional Managers, Practice Area Coordinators, and Marketing. Occasionally, the candidate may work with other BCG entities on global, regional, and local level as needed.
