Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for building strategic partnerships in the energy and industrial sectors? Thomassen Energy is looking for a Sales & Partnership Manager to accelerate our global growth through impactful relationships and smart market strategies.

In this role, you'll develop strong commercial ties with customers and partners, secure sales opportunities, and establish partnerships that align with our long-term business goals. With a focus on key markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, you'll play a vital part in expanding Thomassen Energy's footprint and contributing to a more sustainable energy future.


What You'll Do


  • Drive Sales & Order Intake: Proactively identify and develop customer opportunities, leading them from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and contract signing.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage long-term collaborations with regional partners to unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Market Development: Travel across key regions (Africa, Middle East, Asia) to develop leads, drive purchase orders, and engage with local partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including marketing, tendering, engineering, and operations to align strategies and execute joint initiatives.
  • Proposal Management: Lead deal structuring, pricing strategies, and contract flow-down, with support from our Netherlands-based tendering team.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze partnership and sales KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Business Planning: Support and contribute to sales budget planning, business strategy definition, and market intelligence gathering.
  • Customer & Partner Management: Act as the go-to contact for both customer accounts and partner organizations, ensuring satisfaction and long-term success.
  • Marketing Support: Launch co-branded marketing campaigns, represent Thomassen Energy at industry events, and support promotional initiatives.
  • Ethical Sales: Promote and uphold ethical business practices across all activities.


What You'll Bring


Education & Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Additional training in negotiation, strategic sales, or project management


Experience

  • Extensive background in strategic sales, partnership management, or business development-preferably in the energy or industrial sectors
  • Proven success in complex B2B sales processes and managing senior-level relationships
  • Experience in international sales, particularly in Africa and APAC regions


Skills & Attributes

  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with a commercial focus
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a cross-functional environment
  • Professional fluency in English (French or Dutch is a plus)
