Job description

We are seeking a Global IT Strategy Manager to be based in Europe or US. In our

customers' decentralized, region-driven manufacturing business-where each region

operates its own sales and production functions independently-IT infrastructure,

including ERP systems, is currently fragmented. As global needs such as CRM

standardization, data governance, and DX (Digital Transformation) acceleration grow,

this role will lead the formulation and execution of a global IT strategy that aligns

regional autonomy with corporate-wide efficiency and visibility.

• Analyze and document the current IT landscape across regions (ERP, CRM, infrastructure) and identify gaps and synergies
• Develop and propose a global IT roadmap addressing standardization, system integration, and infrastructure alignment
• Drive CRM harmonization and explore shared digital platforms to improve global operational efficiency
• Lead DX initiatives to promote digitalization of operations, data utilization, and process automation
• Establish IT governance frameworks across regions, including security standards, data policies, and compliance measures
• Collaborate closely with regional IT leads and business units to ensure alignment and secure buy-in for global initiatives
• Prepare proposals and strategic materials for internal meetings, supporting the decision making process

Job requirements

In order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT strategy, planning, or transformation within a global manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics)
• Proven track record in managing cross-border IT projects or programs
• Experience in digital transformation, operational streamlining, or IT standardization initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of navigating different cultures and interests
• Business-level English and Japanese (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IT strategy in decentralized, region-led organizations
• Background in designing and implementing global IT governance structures
• Involvement in IT integration during M&A or corporate restructuring
• Familiarity with cloud migration, data architecture, and data governance frameworks
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, or equivalent are a plus
