Global Equity Product Specialist

A global asset manager is looking to hire an Investment Specialist to focus on the global equity fund range. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Global Equity team working closely with the Portfolio Managers.

Main Duties:

• Articulate investment philosophy/process, positioning and performance to clients
• Point of contact for technical questions related to one or a number of equity funds
• Contribute to development of new investment strategies
• Write market reviews, investment commentary and presentations
• Support the development of marketing materials to articulate investment strategy and capabilities
• Assist Portfolio Managers and Equity Analysts on ad-hoc analysis and projects

Candidate requirements:

• Candidates must have 3-5 years' experience working for an institutional asset manager
• Technically minded, with a passion for equity investing
• Currently working towards CFA qualification
• Strong analytical skills
• Willingness to take initiative
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to take a differentiated perspective
• Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a number of communication settings
