Global Environment Strategy & Multilateral Engagement Lead

Government Recruitment Service is seeking an International Strategic Engagement and Multilateral Deputy Director to lead Defra's international environment work. You will shape strategy, governance, and policy across multilateral fora, including UNFCCC COPs, with a strong emphasis on UK presidencies of G7 and G20.

You will manage a team of about 40 staff, build bilateral relationships, influence ministers, and ensure delivery through a coherent domestic and international narrative.
