Global Design Operations Manager (Mandarin speaking, Technology, London)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Design Operations Manager role at a technology company based in London. The company aims to break down the barriers between technology and people, reestablishing creativity, enthusiasm, and confidence in consumer technologies.

The role involves collaborating closely with the Head of Design to establish a multidisciplinary, flexible, and productive design team; managing cross continent cooperation through functions in a rapidly expanding market climate; ensuring execution has the greatest market impact; and adapting to an ever changing environment.

• 5+ years of experience leading large scale design operations
• Extensive experience developing and leading a design team, promoting individual development and providing mentorship
• Thorough understanding of the multidisciplinary design process in Product, Packaging, Graphic Design, and Branding
• Willingness to visit Sweden once a quarter and travel to China
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is an asset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to gain buy in from business stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial, can do mentality, adaptability to evolving circumstances, and ability to manage many overlapping projects
