Position OverviewThe Global Insights Director based in London will oversee research and insights related to Womenswear & Handbags, supporting global brand, marketing, merchandising, and sales teams.
- Manage the delivery of research pertaining to Womenswear and Handbags, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with global and regional brand and marketing teams to identify research gaps and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies to produce impactful insights that blend data and style.
- Share key insights and implications across teams, supporting regional understanding and sharing of insights.
- Provide strategic business support to the global Womenswear & Handbags teams and regional counterparts.
- Conduct annual 360 analyses incorporating U&A, brand health, social listening, and market opportunities to inform strategies.
- Support global board meetings and long-range planning with insights and analysis.
- Monitor macro consumer shifts, fashion trends, and competitive developments relevant to Womenswear and Handbags.
- Assist the marketing team in integrating insights into advertising development, from concept to post-campaign review.
- Promote consumer-centric practices by embedding insights into brand and regional workflows.
Proven experience in insights, preferably within retail or luxury sectors, with client-side expertise.
Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative research, with a track record of managing agency relationships and developing compelling narratives from data.
Luxury or fashion sensibility and a passion for understanding consumer nuances.
Exceptional analytical and commercial skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
Leadership experience with a history of driving business growth and change, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders across diverse cultural backgrounds.
Curious, proactive, innovative, and forward-thinking approach.
