Location: Morecambe
Type: Full-time 37.5 hours a week, potential shift working/extended hours may be required in line with the needs of the business
Salary: £28 to £32K, based on experience
Start Date: January 2026

As an experienced Glazing Technician, you'll take on advanced glazing tasks, support colleagues, and help deliver the exceptional quality we're known for. What You'll Do

• Complete advanced glazing, edging, and finishing with accuracy and pride.
• Operate, maintain, and confidently work with glazing equipment - MEI experience highly desirable but not essential
• Tackle specialist, complex work (rimless, wrap, drill-mounted, high-curve) with skill and confidence
• Lead by example in quality control and uphold our commitment to craftsmanship
• Work closely with the wider team to keep production efficient, positive, and collaborative
• Bring ideas, creativity, and energy to our continuous improvement efforts
• Help maintain the fun, friendly culture that makes Optimum RX such a great place to work.

Who You Are

• Experienced in ophthalmic glazing with excellent technical skills
• Positive, approachable, and a team player
• Excited by innovation and new ways of working
• Comfortable with glazing machinery - MEI experience is a big plus
• Someone who enjoys a supportive, upbeat workplace
• Motivated by being part of an EOT where every voice counts and being excited about what's next?!
