GIS Market Planning Specialist

Create, update, and maintain GIS feature classes to ensure optimal resource utilization, including data files for POS systems, KML files for marketing, territory management exhibits, development agreement files, and related materials
Develop, monitor, and approve delivery area boundaries, delivery service times, and store exclusive radius protection boundaries to prevent territory intrusions
Work closely with Franchise Sales, Real Estate, Operations, and other departments to identify and pursue opportunities that meet or exceed Development Department goals for franchise agreement signings and unit openings
Create and provide data to support strategic site selection decisions
Assist with site package creation for weekly site review meetings
Assist with white-space analysis and delivery area studies to identify growth potential in traditional and non-traditional markets
Update online mapping applications to manage Area Representative territory projects and share spatial data across departments
Perform cannibalization studies to estimate the potential impact of new locations on existing stores
Create customer location heat maps for targeted marketing initiatives
Manage multiple projects simultaneously using a logical and efficient approach while meeting strict deadlines
Complete special projects as assigned
Education and ExperienceRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field, or GIS Certification
2-3 years of professional experience (retail industry experience preferred but not required)
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesResults-driven with strong attention to detail
Adaptable with a strong capacity for learning
Highly self-motivated and proactive
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong decision-making and strategic thinking skills
Solid business acumen with advanced geographic management skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including confident presentation abilities
Basic knowledge of SQL, Arcade, and Python
Advanced proficiency with ESRI products, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Business Analyst, and Experience Builder
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe products
