German-Speaking DevOps Engineer - 100% Remote (Switzerland/EU) - Long-Term Project

I'm hiring for a German-speaking DevOps Engineer to join a long-term cloud migration project involving 25 financial institutions across Europe. This role is 100% remote, with flexibility to work from anywhere within the EU or Switzerland, and occasional visits to Zurich.

What You'll Be Working On

• Contributing to a large-scale cloud migration project across multiple banks
• Designing and implementing process improvements within CI/CD frameworks
• Building and maintaining development environments (eg Tomcat, JBoss)
• Creating delivery packages and managing deployments using CI/CD best practices
• Writing developer tests and implementing fixes as needed
• Working closely with developers and stakeholders to estimate effort and deliver solid solutions

Tech Stack & Must-Have Skills

• AWS EC2
• Smart Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• CI/CD tools and pipelines
• OpenShift
• Windows Server ()
• PowerShell
• GitLab, Docker
• Background in software development

Language Requirements

• German (B2 level or higher)
• English (B2 level or higher)
• Italian is a bonus, but not required
