Geography Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a wonderful school. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, helping them develop a deep understanding of the subject and its real-world applications. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Geography Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
2. Inspire students to develop a passion for Geography, the environment, and global issues.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
5. Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
6. Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and field trips.
7. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Geography department.
8. Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils.

Ideal Geography Teacher:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
2. Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
4. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
5. A commitment to student progress and achievement.
6. A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
