We are currently looking for friendly adaptable staff willing to work within our supportive team providing cleaning, portering and basic food preparation for our patients. The ability to follow hospital policies and procedures and to carry out other duties as requested to meet the needs of the service are all essential.
Previous experience in a similar position with the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be given.

Main duties of the jobThe main duties of this role involve providing Hotel Services support working in all the departments across the hospital providing cleaning, catering & portering tasks which include basic food preparation in order to provide a good service to our patients in line with NHS Policies and procedures.

Person Specification Knowledge and abilities- Aware of Health & Safety legislation
- Aware of COSHH
- Ability to carry out cleaning tasks to a high standard
- Basic IT skills
- Good basic level of ability in Maths and English
- Experience of working in a care setting
- Experience of preparing and serving meals for a range of clients with different dietary requirements
